RuggedAir manufactures one of the highest quality dampers available for
industrial applications. RuggedAir dampers are noted for their
quality and endurance and are
 specifically suited for true heavy duty
service. All dampers are custom manufactured to suite your specific
requirements with quick turn around delivery and are available in limitless
configurations, sizes and materials. opposed blade design provides
optimum air flow control perfectly suited for mixing and face & bypass
applications.
Standard dampers are manufactured from aluminum, however,
painted mild steel, galvanized steel and 316 stainless steel are options we
offer. Insulated frame and blades are also available.
Standard Damper Features:

All
welded 1/8" thick frames.

Solid
1" diameter full width painted mild steel shafts are standard; 316 stainless
steel optional.

Flanged
RHP sealed greaseable shaft bearings available with extended grease fittings
are standard; 316 stainless steel optional.

Formed
14 gauge blades are provided with gasketed tips and are formed with
additional breaks to ensure strength.

Ultra
heavy duty interblade linkage assembly is preassembled and mounted outside
of air stream.

Standard 4" diameter pneumatic cylinder with 1" 316 stainless steel shaft is
standard and is mounted outside of air stream. Pneumatic positioner
for precise control or electromechanical operator are optional.

Multiple configurations available in one damper with single operator
control. Any combination of face & bypass is possible.

Standard mullion spacing at 48", provided with bushings for each shaft.

Maximum
overall shipping size is 20 ft. x 8 ft. Dampers can be split to suit
your installation and handling requirements. Oversized dampers are
arranged in multiples at our plant before shipping.
